Born in April 2018, from the Nobel Gases naming theme, Xenon helped us grow our herd two years ago with lovely cow, Quiche. April 29th of this year, she brought Novel into the world as the first of our Book Club Calves. This little calf continues to melt our hearts and give us the giggles as she oxplores the farm.
Calves rely on their moms to teach them "how to be a musk ox" and their natural curiosity makes them enthusiastic students. They also rely on other calves to learn play behaviors that will lead to adult behavior such as: stomping, charging, spinning, and of course, zooming.
