Made with Musk Ox Farm 100% Qiviut yarn for the musk ox bodies and Musk Ox Farm Beginner's Blend Yarn (50% Qiviut and 50% Merino) for the face, horns and hooves of the musk ox. The white base of the hat is local Alaska Merino Wool from the Yule Farm in Palmer, Alaska.
The Pompom is removable and made with both qiviut and merino wool yarn.

A note from Ruth:
I started knitting and crafting at the age of seven in my home country of Switzerland. In 1988, after backpacking around the world, I was fascinated by the sled dogs and settled in Alaska. I'm considered a "sourdough." My passion with qiviut began in 2004, and to this day it is my favorite fiber to craft with.
