Get your hooves on our one-of-a-kind ornaments, hand-painted - or should I say snout painted - by our musk ox here at the farm!
The musk ox paintings are set in lightweight (0.5 to 1.1 oz) wooden frames, measuring 4.5" diagonally.
To add whimsy to your holidays, the artist will remain a mystery until it arrives to you.
Paintings done by our musk oxen involves a canvas or paper placed inside a waterproof bag with different colors of nontoxic paint. We then put feed on top of the bag. This gives the musk oxen new textures to explore. It also provides a new smell, sound, and environment where they receive their treats. Enrichment gives animals mental and physical stimulation and gives them more opportunities to practice natural behaviors in a safe and positive way. Each musk ox interacts with their enrichment differently: some push it aside, while others paw at the new item in their world. Either way the results the same - gorgeous unique art made by gorgeous unique animals!
