These hats are named for the tough old gentleman, Gipper, who in June of 2024 turned 20 years old! A testament for his resilience as a bull. The hats are knit by Vickie, who combined several types of yarn to create these beanies:

In each hat you will find the rugged b-drop qiviut and a mid-grade wool, also known as the “Bullpen Blend” blend, as the base of the hat. (This blend is NOT as soft as our other qiviut blends but it is rich in texture, durability, and will retain its shape while still keeping you very warm.)

Our 50/50 qiviut/ merino yarn known as the “Beginners Blend” makes up the stripes in the hat design.

The brim is lined with a blend of qiviut (70%), alpaca wool (15%), and merino wool (15%), which will add some softness to the brim portion of the hat.
The hat stretches from approximately 18 to 24 inches in circumference to fit most.
